What Fosse Surveying does
Fosse Surveying is an East Midlands-based land and measured building surveying consultancy with over 25 years of experience across UK projects. From their Castle Donington base, they deliver survey-grade data on commercial, industrial, public-sector, healthcare and heritage schemes throughout the country.
Their work covers the full spectrum of professional surveying: Topographical Surveys, Measured Building Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, BIM/Revit Modelling, Boundary Surveys, Utility & CCTV Surveys, Volumetric Surveys and Setting Out Engineering. All of it built on industry-leading Leica technology paired with proven surveying methodology.
The projects tend to be big, complex and live. Operational environments where accuracy, coordination and reliability aren't nice-to-haves, they're the job. That's where Fosse comes in.
How we approached the build
The brief came in with an SEO partner already engaged, so we worked in parallel with them from the start. Designing and building the site around their SEO plan, while keeping the visual language aligned to Fosse's existing brand, just with a sharper, more modern finish.
Starting Point
Kicked off with scoping sessions to understand the requirements from both sides: what Fosse needed the site to do for the business, and what the SEO agency needed the structure to support. Getting alignment upfront meant no rework later.
What we designed
A clean, modern website that respected Fosse's existing brand principles but gave them a sharper visual foundation. We kept what was already working and picked our moments to embellish, adding modern touches that lift the brand without breaking from what their clients already recognise.
Figma Designs
Started with a full redesign in Figma, taken through review and approval before anything moved into build.
Website Design & Build
Built in WordPress at the client's request, developed pixel-perfect to the Figma designs we'd signed off.
Launch Support
Stayed involved through QA and launch, working alongside the SEO agency to make sure their best practices were baked in from day one.
What we delivered
A website that visibly moves Fosse forward. Modern layout, clearer calls to action, and an SEO foundation built in from the ground up, ready for the SEO partner to build on over time. Set up for success.
